Universal Studio..Stage 28

Well the Dead one has done the Universal Studio tour.....And NO Friday the 13th section or attraction  ...It must be in Orlando's...som bitch! anywho I learned on my travel that Stage 28 is allegedly ''haunted''.....Here is the back story:

Two ''Ghost'' are said to ''haunt'' Stage 28. The most frequent encounter is with Lon Chaney who died in 1930. The other presence is of an electrition who ''haunts'' the catwalks from which he fell to his death in 1925...During the filming of Poltergiest 2 in 1986, many cast and crew witnessed strange events at the studio. Kevin Ryerson, consultant to the film, said the studio had an eerie presence and feeling about it...

So there ya go kiddies..I was able to grab a few shots of this alleged ''haunted site'' when we drove by it in the trolly ride or whatever it is. (I got a truley crappy shot of Jaw's teeth)...any way I got 1 shot that is kinda cool of Studio 28 and I'll post it very soon....Tomorrow Disneyland!

Keep Huntin' ;gunzzs

This has nothing to do with the haunted studios but I heard about Bodie ghost town a couple days ago there in California. It's the largest preserved ghost town, but it's repordedly "cursed". It was a silver & gold mining town that brought in like 35 mil. in it's hay day. It had a population of about 10 grand. I guess it's booming years were between 1877-1888, but like most of these towns it was devstaded by fire, the depression and prohibition.

Bodie Legends

Legends about Bodie abound, including the Bodie Curse. Supposedly, if visitors take anything from this old ghost town – even a pebble, they will be cursed with bad luck. Misfortune and tragedy are heaped upon the victim until the stolen item is returned. According to Park Rangers, many who have taken things eventually return them to the park to rid themselves of this curse. Purportedly, the park maintains a log book of pages and pages of returned items. In the museum, you can see the letters from people who have returned items to the park. The curse is supposedly perpetuated by the ghosts of Bodie who guard against thieves and protect its treasures.

I just thought it was interesting and wanted to share....

Well... This also has nothing to do with Stage 28.... But I have never been there( would love to) so its hard for me to comment on it without talking out of school.... but I think that such a thing would fall in line with a sort of Ghost Town feeling no? I mean... backwoods areas ie: old country homes and places where a town used to exist just fascinate me...
